ELECTION PROCESS
The HL2 Association is governed by a nine (9) member Board of Directors. The Board consists of Executive Officers; President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer and five (5) at large members. The term of office is for three (3) years with three (3) positions elected annually.
Board members attend the monthly meetings, monitor the financial workings of the Association, establish policy and respond to the community’s needs and concerns.
The Board members will be elected by written ballot each year at the annual meeting. The Board members will then elect the Executive Officers.
Any HL2 property owner who would like to run for a board position must notify the Lake Association at hansonlake2@gmail.com or by completing a Statement of Candidacy no later than April 1st. Candidates must be “members in good standing”, meaning all dues and assessments levied by the Association have been paid.
BALLOTS
Each lake lot property owner shall be entitled to one vote – ONE VOTE PER LOT
Ballots shall be mailed to all lake association members, at the address recorded in the
Lake Directory, no later than 20 days prior to the annual meeting.
Ballots will be counted by at least two (2) association members and the results announced at the annual meeting.
